The Rotary Club of St Cloud's Mission and Vision.

MISSION:
The mission of the Rotary Club of St. Cloud is to foster an environment of
fellowship among business and professional leaders which results in
greater service to the club, the community, vocations, and the world.
By working together in a spirit of friendship, and by using our leadership
abilities and resources, we can be a catalyst for action promoting peace
and understanding at all levels; leaving the world we touch a better place.

VISION:
We are the premier service organization in Central Minnesota, and
because of the commitment and dedication of all our members, we are
respected and recognized as being among the best Rotary Clubs in
Minnesota.
We are evaluating and measuring our success by the quality of our service,
activities, and projects at the club, vocational, community, and
international levels.
Our members' involvement in the four avenues of service results in a
highly visible club that significantly and positively impacts the club
membership, local businesses and professions, the Saint Cloud
community, and different parts of the world.

Junior Achievement North – St. Cloud area prepares students to be the leaders of tomorrow. JA teaches students in grades K-12 about money management, how to prepare for college and a career, and how to start businesses that create jobs and strengthen our economy.

Interested in furthering the JA mission?

  1. We are in need of 150 volunteers this spring to teach JA programs in local K-12 classrooms. Can you spare less than an hour as little as once a week? As a JA volunteer, you will visit a classroom for five in-person sessions (30-45 minutes each). All materials and training are provided by JA and come with step-by-step instructions to ensure that your volunteer experience is positive and rewarding. Bonus, you get to spend a little more time with your favorite student and their classmates! No previous experience is needed. You can explore the programs we offer here or you can reach out to erin.brum@janorth.org for a current list of local classrooms in need of a volunteer. Ready to jump in? Complete our volunteer registration form!

We are looking for volunteers to host a Junior Rotarian virtually:

- Volunteer to host for one month -November, December, January, February, March or April
- Log on to the regular Zoom meeting link at 11:50am each week during the month you selected to volunteer (please commit to attending each week to connect with your Junior Rotarian)
- Leigh Ann will move you to a Zoom breakout room so you will have a few minutes to connect with your Junior Rotarian before the meeting starts
Introduce your Junior Rotarian when President Johnson calls for introductions

That's it! How easy is that?  Please email Tammy Biery with the month you'd like to be a host.

As a host, you can attend meetings in person or virtually. If you join the in person meeting, we ask that you find a quiet space to meet with your Junior Rotarian on a mobile device via Zoom from 11:50 until the beginning of the meeting.

Email Tammy - tammy.biery@CSJobs.org if you'd like to volunteer!
